About Us

I am Dr. Kristi Oldham and I have been practicing veterinary medicine in Charleston for over 18 years.  For the last 10 years I have been serving the Charleston community as a mobile integrative veterinarian and it has been an amazing experience! However, due to the growing business and the generous support of the community we are opening "Trinity Island Veterinary Clinic" where we have been blessed to be able to create a beautiful, safe and welcoming veterinary clinic experience for the local community and their 4 legged loved ones. We look forward to having the opportunity to serve the community at our new location nestled within the beautiful live oak trees.

OUR MISSION

Where Animal Health Comes First and Human-Animal Bonds are treasured

Meet Our Team

Our team at Trinity Island Veterinary Clinic is a collaboration of multiple careers served in the animal care and veterinary medicine profession.  We are very excited to bring all this experience and knowledge to the southern Johns Island, Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island communities.  Our small animal practice is made up of talented veterinary professionals who are passionate about animals and practice medicine from an integrated common sense approach.

Dr. Kristi Oldham

Dr. Kristi Oldham is an integrative veterinarian who has been serving the greater Charleston community for over 18 years as a clinician, shelter veterinarian and as an integrative mobile veterinarian for the last 10 years.  Dr. Oldham received her BS in Environmental Health from San Diego State University and her DVM from Ross University completing her clinical rotation at Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Oldham is certified in traditional Chinese veterinary acupuncture and food therapy medicine from the Chi Institute in Reddick Florida.  In addition, she is Human-Animal bond certified and particularly interested in the inter-connectivity between her patients and their human companions.

Dr. Kim Luce

Over three decades of practice, Dr. Luce has accumulated experience in a wide variety of areas in small animal medicine.

Her primary focus has been emergency and critical care medicine, but she has also had extensive experience in general practice.

Through practicing almost exclusively in Specialty and Referral hospitals, Dr. Luce has obtained a broad base of knowledge and experience in other fields including internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and ophthalmology, in addition to general practice and preventative health care.  Her special interests are emergency and critical care, and soft tissue surgery with an emphasis on pain management, both acute and chronic, and she is loving being at Trinity (a very special practice!) and expanding her knowledge of holistic care.
Outside of work, she enjoys riding and training in the equine discipline of hunters/jumpers.  She is also a 500 hour certified yoga instructor.

Dr. Kristen Colleran

Dr. Kristen Colleran received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Illinois, and attended veterinary college in Ireland at the National University of Ireland, University College Dublin, graduating with honors in Small Animal Medicine in 1999.
Following graduation, Dr. Colleran spent 2 years working in Ireland, treating pets as well as horses and farm animals. She then returned to the U.S. and shifted her focus to small animals. Having been exposed to the healing effects of alternative medicines, she felt that she could best serve her patients with a more holistic
approach.

In 2009, Dr. Colleran completed her Certification in Veterinary
Acupuncture at the Chi Institute. Adding to her skill set, she became a Certified Veterinary Spinal Manipulator (also referred to as a Veterinary Chiropractor) through Healing Oasis Wellness Center in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. Additionally, she is working
on certification in veterinary rehabilitation and veterinary homeopathy. Finally, she is a Master Reiki Practitioner. She is an experienced diagnostician, and with her training in holistic medicine, she offers an integrated approach to treating many
common medical conditions.
Dr. Colleran finds her center and grounding in nature…running, hiking, on the water and with yoga practice. She believes in the interconnectivity of all things and tries to live intentionally and peacefully, doing no harm.

We are excited to have Sydney Chivers as part of our team.  She is a natural with animals and is a local Johns Island businesswoman herself!  At only 18 she has already created her own upstart pet sitting and dog walking service, flies planes, is a mechanic, can run most machinery and quite frankly, is a real jack of all trades!  We never know what new adventure she will be working on next!

(Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant)

Casey "Cas" Inabinet holds a degree in Business Administration from The Collage of Charleston and is Trinity Island Veterinary Clinic's reception "air traffic controller" she keeps us lined up and organized with a kind and honest smile and an infectious humble laugh.

Cas devotes all her time to the care of animals, when she is not at Trinity, she has her own dog walking and pet sitting business.

If she has any free time at all, she can be found cuddling with her own little fur baby or possibly getting a little crazy and storming the stage at a local band venue!

Lauren Nadol

(Veterinary Assistant)

Lauren is new to Trinity Island Veterinary Clinic, but not new to veterinary medicine.  She has been working in the field for over 18 years.  Dr. Oldham first met Lauren when they both worked at Charleston Animal Society 15 years ago and she was excited to go full circle when Lauren joined the TIVC team.  Don't be fooled by the quiet and shy first impression; Lauren is a mother, wife and knows how to have a good time "Oktoberfesting" and maximizing Halloween!  There is definitely another person under that shy and quiet mask!
